Last month I went on a mission trip to the province of Pangasinan in the Philippines. The rural areas in the Philippines are full of virtual orphans. People can't afford machinery so the farming is done by hand and pays little. Working age adults move to the cities looking for better opportunities leaving their children behind with grandparents. Once the parents arrive in the cities and find jobs they discover that it takes all that they make just to live in the city so their children are left in the province with little or no support. These children and youth are desperate, we must reach them for Jesus.

While I was there I attended several bible studies, some outreach events and spoke in four different churches. I had the privilege of seeing God move mightily several times. The hunger of these youths is so great, both physical hunger and spiritual hunger. The pastors there are doing a phenomenal job but there are just not enough pastors to reach everyone. No one wants to be a pastor there because there is no money for donations. Truly the fields are ripe for harvest but the workers are few. I'm looking for prayer partners to agree with me in prayer that God will multiply the workers for the harvest.
