There are so many ways to "love" people and be supportive that are based on what the world thinks is right, that actually aren't love at all. The world likes to portray "loving" someone as living with an attitude of "everyone can just live the way that 'feels right' or letting them do what 'makes them happy'." The truth is supporting everyone's lifestyle choices when it's sin isn't actually love at all. God has called us to truly love people and speak the truth in love, see sin as sin and call it as it is. It can be hard to stand up for what's right and to love people enough to tell them the truth when the truth is uncomfortable or makes them feel offended. God has called us to so much greater than just living and nodding along to the next thing. We're called to walk in love and know what it's really all about. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." He's called us to encourage others and walk in purity, to pray for our brothers and sisters, neighbors and enemies. Let's live like Jesus, love like Him and speak the truth in love even when it's uncomfortable. 世の中が正しいと考える基準に基づいた「愛」や支援の形は数多く存在しますが、それらは実際には愛とは程遠いものです。世間は「愛する」ことを「誰もが『心地よいと感じる』生き方をすればいい」「『幸せを感じる』ことをさせてあげればいい」という態度で生きることに描こうとします。しかし真実を言えば、罪である生活様式を支持することは、決して愛とは言えません。神は私たちに、人を真に愛し、愛をもって真理を語り、罪を罪として見抜き、その実態を指摘するよう召しておられます。 真理が不快であったり人を怒らせたりする時、正しいことを主張し、人を十分に愛し続けるのは難しいことです。神が私たちに求めておられるのは、ただ流れに身を任せ、次々と起こることにうなずくだけの生き方よりも、はるかに大きな使命なのです。神は私たちに愛のうちを歩み、愛の本質を知るよう召しておられる。コリント人への第一の手紙13章4-7節「愛は寛容であり、愛は親切である。愛はねたまず、誇らず、うぬぼれない。礼儀をわきまえず、自己中心を求めず、怒らず、悪を数え上げない。愛は悪を喜ばず、真理に喜びを感じる。愛は常に守り、常に信頼し、常に望み、常に耐え忍ぶ。」 神は私たちに、他者を励まし清く歩むこと、兄弟姉妹や隣人、敵のために祈ることを求められています。イエスのように生き、イエスのように愛し、たとえ居心地が悪くても愛をもって真理を語りましょう
