It's always a joy seeing how God brings our teams together on nights like these. We even saw Him reveal Himself to two ladies who received salvation. For many passing by, it's cool to see God bring them together as they start talking with our team because they're here at the right place, at the right time. With one family we connected with, they shared how they'd actually just arrived on the island and were looking for a church, and were thankful to find a youth program their son could join in too. We also connected with another woman who stopped listening to the music, seeing the opportunity, she reached out and joined in singing with us. God provided many opportunities to encourage other Christians passing by, too. Some shared how they felt incomplete and were thankful to hear that God has a deeper calling on their lives, and they were made for these days. Even with language barriers, God reaches anyone's hearts, like two ladies we talked to who'd never heard the gospel before or that Jesus loved them, and in the end, they received salvation. From beginning to the end, we saw this time be an encouragement to each of us as we got to share testimonies and give glory to God alongside other believers and our friends, Pastor Manly and Junko from Storehouse Ministries and Jimmy from YIC.
このような夜に神様が私たちのチームを一つに集めてくださる様子を見るのはいつも喜びです。救いを受けた二人の女性に神様がご自身を現わされたのも目撃しました。通りすがりの多くの人々にとって、神が彼らを私たちのチームと結びつけてくださるのは素晴らしいことです。なぜなら彼らはまさに適切な場所に、適切なタイミングでここにいるからです。ある家族と交流した際、彼らは実はちょうど到着したばかりで教会を探していたと話し、息子が参加できるユースプログラムを見つけられたことに感謝していると語りました。また、音楽を聴くのを止めた別の女性とも繋がることができました。彼女は機会を見出し、自ら手を差し伸べて私たちと共に礼拝に加わりました。通りかかるクリスチャンたちを励ます機会も数多く与えられました。中には「何かが足りないと感じていた」と打ち明け、神が自分の人生に深い召命を与え、この時代のために造られたと聞いて感謝した人もいました。言葉の壁があっても、神は誰の心にも届かれます。例えば、福音を聞いたこともなく、イエスが自分を愛していると知らなかった二人の女性と話しましたが、最終的に救いを受け入れました。初めから終わりまで、この時間は私たち一人ひとりに励ましとなりました。他の信者たちや友人たち、ストアハウスミニストリーズのマンリー牧師と純子、YICのジミーと共に、証しを分かち合い、神に栄光を帰することができたからです。
