Love these kids! Each time we come together we're doing something new. This time we joined the YWAM team from Switzerland.
I love how times like these, where we're playing games, doing crafts, working on homework or singing songs together are all in a place where kids like them can grow closer to God as they learn about Jesus Christ. To some of them, these days at Jimbunas might be their first experiences meeting Christians and learning about the Bible.
Sometimes when I meet other Japanese people at outreach and we talk about the gospel even though they don't know too much, they share how they went to a Christian kindergarten as a child. Now we're seeing the beginning of that and meeting children who will grow up to become adults like those on the seawall who are now on fire for God.
That's really amazing. Adults who received seeds of the gospel as a child and are coming to Christ and receiving salvation at outreach, sometimes decades later.
If you're wondering if your encouragement or Bible teaching means something to little 6 and 9 year olds, it does! God is sowing into this generation!
この子たちが本当に大好きです！集まるたびに新しいことをしています。今回はスイスのYWAMチームと合同で活動しました。
ゲームや工作、宿題、合唱など、こうした活動がすべて、子供たちがイエス・キリストについて学びながら神様に近づける場となっていることが素晴らしいと思います。ジンブナスの活動が、彼らにとって初めてクリスチャンと出会い、聖書を知る機会になる子もいるでしょう。
伝道活動で出会う日本人の方々と福音を話す時、詳しく知らなくても「子供の頃クリスチャンの幼稚園に通っていた」と話す方がいます。今まさにその始まりを目の当たりにし、防波堤で神に燃える大人たちのように成長する子供たちと出会っているのです。
これは本当に驚くべきことです。幼い頃に福音の種を受け取り、時には数十年後になって伝道会でキリストに導かれ救いを受ける人々に出会えるのです。
もしあなたが「自分の励ましや聖書教えが6歳や9歳の子供たちに意味があるのか」と疑問に思うなら、答えは「ある！」です。神はこの世代に種を蒔いておられるのです！
