This school is another place where you can see God moving in the lives of the younger generation. Many teens discovering what they want to do with their lives and wondering who they really are.
I loved the powerful testimony Sakurashun shared last week. She shared about her childhood, growing up in the middle of her parents struggling with their marriage and her own frustrations and desire to have a dad and the love of her father in her life. God came through in her life, healing her heart, view of Christianity and showed her that He is her heavenly father and He loves her unconditionally.
It's testimony and childhood many students can relate to. Coming from a military family and being half Japanese and American and experiencing life as someone connected to both countries. Her testimony speaks to all of us, that even if we're craving the love of someone emotionally missing in our lives there's a love only God can fill us with and it's overwhelming and never ending. He's ready to hold us, love us and be our Dad.
If you have a dad or not, God will be your father.

先週サクラシュンが語った力強い証しに心を打たれました。彼女は幼少期、両親の結婚生活の葛藤の中で育ち、父親への渇望と父の愛を人生に求める自身の葛藤について語りました。神は彼女の人生に介入し、心の傷を癒し、キリスト教への見方を変え、神こそが彼女の天の父であり、無条件に愛してくださることを示されたのです。
多くの生徒が共感できる証しと幼少期です。軍人家庭に生まれ、日米ハーフとして両国に縁のある生活を送ってきた彼女の証しは、私たち全てに語りかけます。たとえ人生で欠けている存在の愛情を切望していても、神だけが満たせる愛があり、それは圧倒的で尽きることがないのだと。神は私たちを抱きしめ、愛し、父となってくださる準備ができておられるのです。
父親がいるかいないかにかかわらず、神があなたの父となってくださいます。
